Firehose of constructive criticism

One of the things that I’m often called upon to do for the students in my mentoring program is to review their marketing materials and offer my advice.

Here’s how it works:

Students typically find these videos extremely helpful. The best part is that there often aren’t all that many things that need to be changed to take the piece from “meh” to “wow!”

It’s usually just a question of clarifying what the page is for, rearranging or adding a few sections, and cutting out any weak, mushy, or overly clever copy.

Here’s where you come in...

I’m going to do a free public live teardown session for anyone who has a page they’d like me to review.

It’ll be sort of a “lightning round” format, which means I won’t have tons of extra time to be usual warm and fuzzy self ;-)

For this reason, I’m calling it “Tough Love Teardown”. If you’ve got a page you’d like me to review AND you can take a firehose of constructive criticism, click this link to add yourself to the early announcement list:

YES, PLEASE ADD ME TO THE TLT LIST!

(Clicking the link will magically auto-tag you as interested... no need to enter your email address or anything. Oh and there’s a little gift for being awesome!)

Like I said, Tough Love Teardown will be free and open to the public. I expect to get more submissions than I can review in one session, so folks who’ve added themselves to the list will get top priority.

Call me crazy, but I think this sounds like a lot of fun. I hope you do, too :-)

Yours,

—J
