Do you trust me?

There are only about a dozen people on this mailing list who I’ve met in person.

Therefore, the odds are extremely high that you and I have never met IRL.

So... if you trust me, I’d bet that it’s because you’ve listened to me jabbering endlessly on a podcast.

There’s something about podcasting that creates what I call asymmetric intimacy.

I noticed it more than a decade ago when I started listening to Paul and Marcus on Boagworld.

Although we had never met, I felt like I was friends with the hosts.

Like we were buddies who hung out every week.

And therefore, I placed a lot of trust in them.

Why does this matter?

Here’s why...

Building trust at scale is a great way to build your business.

And podcasting is a great way to build trust at scale.

So if you want to build your business, you might want to consider starting a podcast.

It’s probably a lot easier than you think.
