Being Yourself
A few people responded to my last message asking if it was in reply to something that happened to me directly, and the answer is:
No, not at all!
...but I guess I must’ve come across as too aggressive or something LOL
Anyway...
What I was actually thinking was related to positioning in general.
Specifically:
There are LOADS of people copying others because they think that’s the way to succeed.
In a business context, this results in soggy positioning.
And soggy positioning makes it hard to attract more/better clients.
Which makes it hard to succeed.
Here’s the thing...
I’m not saying “be yourself” is a guaranteed path to success.
But neither is “copy your competitors.”
So...
If you can fail either way, why not be yourself?
